Iranian Radio
Iranian Radio Spring 2007 Schedule: Every Saturday from 2:30-4 pm.
Iranian radio program is run on WUVT radio station on FM 90.7. WUVT. WUVT is the radio station of Virginia Tech and their office is located on the third floor of squires. Check their website or office for more info about them.
Iranian Society was one of the first (by some reports the very first) international radio show on WUVT. It started back in 1970s and has been going on and off the air. We are dedicated to bring the program on the air and to make it better. However we need your support. We need you to listen to our show, give us suggestions, and call to us know that we still have supporters.At this time Arsalan and Maziar are running the show in a weekly schedule and other volunteers will be helping from time to time. If you would like to be volunteer and help us, please send us an email to persianmusic@vt.edu. Also, feel free to send us an email with suggestions on the type of music/program you are interested. Iranian radio is completely non-political and will not present political news, however we will try to keep you updated on interesting news about Iran, culture shows, and Iranian Society events in and around Blacksburg.
